Recently, a ministry colleague was speaking to a group of leaders and said something that has been resonating in my heart ever since. He ...
If you believe the hope of America is the Gospel, not politics, AND that the real agents of transformation are pastors, not politicians, you MUST read this!
This month, it seems our society’s attention is riveted on the political scene. Billions of dollars are flowing to fund local, state and national elections in hopes for a better day. Of course, God has ordained civil government, but our real hope is not in human leaders or new policies.
We know God’s attention is focused on His church – as He waits for us to respond to His call to powerful, spiritual renewal. We know the real change agents in society are not partisan candidates who lead political parties, but pastors who lead the church of Jesus Christ.
I believe the most important focus true Christ followers can embrace in this month of October is the vital emphasis of “Pastor Appreciation Month.” That is why I am writing you today. Will you help me as we serve and renew pastors all across North America?
In recent months, we have personally ministered to thousands of pastors representing churches that serve multiplied thousands of believers. These leaders are special targets of Satan and need to be special objects of our prayers and earnest support. They need our encouragement!
The 6:4 Fellowship is one of the most vital vehicles in North America serving pastors today. As we call pastors to the salient leadership priorities from Acts 6:4, “prayer and the ministry of the word” pastors are receiving regular encouragement, connection and challenge to the supernatural realities of Christian leadership. Hundreds of pastors from many denominations and 45 states have already found a spiritual and emotional life-line through The 6:4 Fellowship.
Because you love pastors, care about powerful renewal and are burdened for our nation, we need your help right now. We are still in the early days of this fellowship that will someday impact thousands of pastors. To provide the valuable resources we currently offer, we need the support of people who care about this ministry to pastors.
To launch this incredible vision, we have sought the assistance of various foundations, but with little results. We feel a better approach is to ask for help from friends like you, who know us, believe in what we are doing, and see this great need. You also are aware of the incredible impact being made.
Specifically we are looking for you help, either as a Pastoral Sponsor or as a Founding Partner of The 6:4 Fellowship vision. Pastoral Sponsors provide an annual membership for pastors in The 6:4 Fellowship for just $64.00. The membership can be designated for a specific pastor or for any pastor(s) in need. This also helps minimize our expenses, yet still provide the best ministry possible to these leaders.
Founding Partners are vital to our ongoing ministry. The necessary underwriting of this vision is crucial. Through their generous gift of $640.00, Founding Partners help us with the seed money so vital to continuing this vision. In appreciation for your generosity as a Founding Partner, we want to send you a very beautiful glass plaque which you can display as a reminder of our gratitude and a prompting to pray for our spiritual leaders in an ongoing fashion.
Your gift allows us to serve pastors in so many ways. 6:4 Fellowship members receive:
In appreciation for your gift of $64.00 or more, I want to send you the powerful DVD set from our recent national conference. You can read more about it by clicking here. I know it will be a great blessing to your life!
So please join me as we invest in the things that matter most. If the world can spend billions on political causes, surely we can invest in this strategic spiritual focus – especially as we honor pastors in this month of October.
Thank you for your gift and generosity. Together we can keep our leaders in the fight and fuel their faith to lead our churches and nation in vital renewal.
Yours in Christ,
