Rise Up O Men of God is a timely and practical series of webinars to strengthen and encourage men to take up the mantle of leadership in the local church and at work. This series will be held over four weeks on Thursday evenings by various voices who have walked this path and deeply desire to pass on a passion as well as practical steps to benefit your journey!

Crawford Loritts Founder, Beyond Our Generation

Crawford Loritts

Crawford grew up in New Jersey and as a teenager he trusted Christ as his Savior. He attended and graduated from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, NJ. He attended and graduated from Cairn University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible. He and his wife Karen met in college and were married on May 22, 1971.
He has traveled throughout the US and much of the world, speaking in churches, evangelistic outreaches, conferences, colleges and seminaries. He has been the featured speaker at Super Bowls, NCAA Final Four Chapel and the Pentagon with senior military officers. He has been a church planter, served for 27years on the staff of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) and served for 15 years as Sr. Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church, Roswell, Georgia. He and Karen have been featured speakers at FamilyLife marriage conferences. Crawford is the author of 9 books including Your Marriage Today… and Tomorrow, co-authored with Karen. He is the host of two national radio programs, the weekend program Living a Legacy and the daily program Legacy Moments.
Crawford serves on several boards including Cru, FamilyLife and Chick-fil-A. He has received five honorary Doctorates (Biola Univ., Cairn Univ., Moody Bible Institute, Trinity International Univ. and Columbia International Univ.).
Crawford is President and Founder of Beyond Our Generation and is committed to encouraging and helping to shape the next generation of Christian leaders.He and Karen have 4 adult children and 11 grandchildren.

Jim Maxim Founder, Acts 4:13

Jim Maxim

Jim is the President and founder of Maxim Automotive, which specializes in forming and managing re-insurance companies for Automotive Dealers. He and his wife Cathy have been involved in inner city ministry for over 30 years as regular hosts of city-wide prayer gatherings, founders of Acts 4:13 (a ministry dedicated to mobilizing the church to prayer for pastors), and board members of People for People and World Impact. Jim is also the Chairman of The Hope Center, an urban crisis pregnancy center in North Philadelphia, as well as an author and public speaker. He faithfully serves as the Board Chairman for Strategic Renewal.

Greg King Founder, C12 Business Forum

Greg King

Greg and his wife, Kim, moved to southwest Virginia after two decades in Washington, D.C., where he served in senior roles at the Pentagon and Capitol Hill before launching C12 Business Forums. C12’s vision, to advance the gospel in the marketplace, helps business owners and CEOs live an integrated life under the Lordship of Jesus. A former U.S. Army officer with over 25 years of service, Greg is passionate about equipping Christian business leaders to integrate faith, family, leadership, and business stewardship. Married for 40 years, Greg and Kim are proud parents of their daughter, Sarah, who lives with her husband in Charleston, SC. They attend EastLake Community Church in Moneta, VA, and actively support global gospel ministries.
Brad Thompson (former) CEO, Columbia Forest Products; (current) COO Strategic Renewal

Brad Thompson

Brad Thompson spent 40 years in the Forest Products industry and retired in 2019 as President and CEO for Columbia Forest Products (North America’s largest producer of decorative hardwood plywood.) He served on various non-profit Boards serving as Board Chairman for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro, NC, Board Chairman for The Hardwood Federation and Board President for the Hardwood Industry’s PAC. Brad has a passion for workplace ministry associating Columbia Forest Product’s plants with Corporate Chaplains, His Way at Work and C12 leadership support. He received the C12 Group’s “Hero Award” for workplace ministry. Brad received the Association of Fundraising Professional’s Outstanding Philanthropist Award and has also served as a Gideon. Brad and his wife Libby have been married since 1981. They currently live at Smith Mountain Lake, VA where he serves on the Photography Team at Eastlake Church. Brad started a day and evening Men’s Bible Study Fellowship group for the SML area and serves as a group leader. Brad serves a Chief Operating Officer for Strategic Renewal. He and his wife have three grown children and one granddaughter.
