All the ministries of Strategic Renewal are driven by this aim:

We are so grateful to God for His inspiration and provision in 5 Main Priorities we have focused on over the last few years. These priorities were discovered in 2022 and through 2023 we have intentionally sought these with the next generation of pastors and church leaders in mind.

RELAUNCHING OF OUR MINISTRY TO THE PERSON IN THE PEW

BECAUSE PRAYING PASTORS NEED MATURE, PRAYING PEOPLE TO CARRY THE MINISTRY LOAD

As of the summer of 2022, Strategic Renewal’s ministry to the person in the pew has been renamed The 6:3 Discipleship (63discipleship.com). This “arm” of the ministry is lead by Director, Justin Jeppesen, and is focus on training and building up saints in the church who are pursuing Spirit-powered character and service in order to support their pastors and church leaders. This includes a Discipleship by Design pathway, inspired by Acts 6:3, that has 4 Guideposts along the path. These are Worship-based Prayer, Good Reputation, Full of Wisdom, and Full of the Spirit.  Each of these has a foundational resource book and Zoom coaching cohorts in an effort to resource church members in becoming the 6:3 Disciples that their 6:4 Pastors need.

In the first half of 2023 all four of these Guideposts were represented in coaching sessions, and then in the fall Transforming Prayer had a second round of cohorts. Transforming Presence is scheduled to begin its second round in November. Beyond the Zoom coaching The 6:3 Discipleship also launched, in 2023, 10 Renewal Coaches that are available to go to a local church to coach the Transforming Prayer content, in a seminar format, as well as to facilitate a local Prayer Summit.

On a more frequent level, The 6:3 Discipleship leads the way with our efforts every Monday morning with a live prayer, on Facebook. This has been accomplished every Monday of 2023, with the exception of the month of July which was an intentional break. There are currently around 45 faithful attenders to this weekly gathering.

These efforts have been well received!

ACCELERATED GROWTH OF OUR VITAL COACHING MINISTRY TO CHURCH LEADERS

BECAUSE PASTORS ARE HUNGRY TO LEAD MORE EFFECTIVELY IN PRAYER

The Praying Leader is the flagship coaching cohort of our ministry. Driven by The 6:4 Fellowship, The Praying Leader (prayingleader.com) has coached over 800 pastors and church leader in how to lead life-giving prayer meetings. Its focus is to not only teach the leading of the meeting, but in how to create a prayer culture in the participant’s churches.

DEEPENING OF LIFE-GIVING RELATIONSHIPS AMONG 6:4 PASTORS

BECAUSE PASTORS ARE LONELY, ISOLATED, AND HUNGRY FOR A DEEPER FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER

A large focus for The 6:4 Fellowship (64fellowship.com), in 2023, has been on the fellowship part of the name. This has been accomplished by hosting several gatherings around the country to bring like-minded pastors together, and to share the benefits of 6:4 with many others. 6:4 hosted six Days of Renewal which are one-day gatherings to seek God’s face together in prayer, praise, and dynamic preaching. In addition to these, the “pastor arm” of our ministry also hosted 18 Regional RECLAIM Gatherings, which are free luncheons to gather together local pastors for fellowship, and refreshment. It is also a great way to introduce people to The 6:4 Fellowship, and encourage them back to the priorities God outlined in Acts 6:4.

EXPONENTIAL EXPANSION OF OUR INTERNATIONAL IMPACT

BECAUSE THE HUNGER FOR WORSHIP-BASED PRAYER IS GOING GLOBAL

Our ministry is beginning to have a much bigger impact on the international community. The 6:4 Fellowship has just launched a full set of pages in Spanish (64fellowship.com/es) with its own Spanish speaking Membership, as well as a Latin America Region. We are in the process of translating several of our key resources in to Spanish as well.

On the translation front, 64PRESS, has been busy translating our most popular resource, Praying the Psalms, into multiple languages including Arabic, Farsi, French, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian. The impact that this resource has had specifically in Russian (through the Slavic Gospel Association) has been so well received that they are printing 6000 copies of Volume one for pastors who speak Russian… in Israel!

NEXT GENERATION IMPACT

BECAUSE OUR NATION NEEDS EMERGING CHURCH LEADERS WHO WILL GUIDE THE CHURCH OF TOMORROW INTO BIBLICAL MINISTRY AND POWERFUL GOSPEL ADVANCEMENT

In August, our ministry hosted 52 seminarians and church plant pastors at The Brooklyn Tabernacle to pour into them, the idea of Scripture-fed, Spirit-led, Worship-based prayer and creating a prayer culture in the church that God has called them to. This was a tremendous time of fellowship and encouragement, completely funded by generous donors who have a heart for the Church.
