Featuring Pastor Jim Cymbala at The Brooklyn Tabernacle
Every genuine minister wants to be more equipped in the work of ministry. However, we can far too easily turn to methods that directly undermine the spiritual nature of our work. After following Jesus and observing his life, the disciples understood the real source of His ministry. This is why their only request in ministry equipping was simply, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1).
The Day of Renewal Regional Events are designed to inspire and equip you in building a supernaturally empowered ministry. This is a great opportunity for your entire leadership team to find practical tools and a fresh vision for a ministry powered by prayer.
Most importantly, you will get to see these principles in action. All our Day of Renewal events feature local churches and pastors that have seen exceptional growth and impact in the area of prayer. Contrary to some conferences, you will hear from local church pastors who are modeling what they are teaching, and will give you practical insight to help you succeed in your ministry context.
We are excited to partner with Pastor Jim Cymbala and The Brooklyn Tabernacle for this one day gathering. This experience will conclude with The Brooklyn Tabernacle’s Tuesday night prayer meeting (attended by thousands every week), providing you with first hand experience of what a vibrant culture of prayer could look like in your setting.
Jim Cymbala is the founding pastor of The Brooklyn Tabernacle, which began as a congregation of less than 20 people meeting in a rundown building located in an impoverished part of downtown Brooklyn. Over the years, God has shown his faithfulness to them and their congregation in many incredible ways. Their present campus includes a large renovated theater in downtown Brooklyn, where thousands of people come each week to hear the Good News of Jesus. Jim is the author of several books, including Strong through the Storm; Spirit Rising; Breakthrough Prayer; and Fresh Wind Fresh Fire, which was named Christian book of the year. His wife Carol directs the six-time Grammy Award Winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, whose music has blessed people around the world.
As a senior pastor for over two decades, Daniel Henderson brought prayer-based revitalization to numerous churches. Now, as the President of Strategic Renewal, Daniel dedicates his full-time efforts to coaching local church leader and helping congregations across the world experience spiritual renewal. Daniel is sought after for his expertise in leading corporate prayer. He has authored numerous books on biblical leadership and prayer including, Old Paths, New Power and Transforming Prayer: How Everything Changes When You Seek God’s Face.
