And The Place Was Shaken:

How To Lead A Powerful Prayer Meeting

"John

The book seeks to equip a leader with the knowledge of what causes a powerful prayer meeting.  It states that the leader must know the three desires of God for a prayer meeting, and the four responsibilities of a prayer leader in working with Him.  It avoids a formulaic approach of “programming” God to get a certain result or infringing on His sovereignty, but gives very practical handles and suggestions for how a leader works with God to guide His people.

"It has well been said that prayer can do anything that God can do.  I am so grateful for John Franklin’s wonderful book, And The Place Was Shaken.  As a pastor for many years, I have struggled with the subject of leading powerful prayer meetings.  This book will be an asset to pastors such as I, and the Christian leaders everywhere." – anonymous
