A God-Given Vision

In the year 2000, Pastor Daniel Henderson felt called by God to lead fellow pastors, and their congregations, into prayer-driven renewal. The vision was simple: 

Helping churches reclaim prayer as its first priority.

He believed churches that returned to prayer would awaken to leaders strengthened, and disciples equipped to serve. What seemed like a small act of obedience and a simple vision would end up growing exponentially, as God blessed Pastor Daniel’s faithfulness to this authentic vision. 

This same model of faith and authenticity is what has allowed Strategic Renewal to look back with gratitude on a quarter-century of ministry success.

Restoring Leaders 

In 2007 Pastor Daniel was commissioned by his church to help facilitate revival in local churches across the country.

By 2010, the 6:4 Fellowship was formed – 50 pastors united by a desire to connect with one another and with God on a deeper level by following the model laid out in Acts 6:4 – through prayer and the ministry of the word.

Renewal driven by prayer. Could it really be that simple?

Now in 2025, that fellowship of 50 pastors has become a network of over 5,000 prayer-filled pastors across the world!

This year Strategic Renewal facilitated 17 regional prayer groups per week in 90 different countries.

Engaging Disciples

This is why the 6:3 Discipleship is a key portion of Strategic Renewal’s ongoing vision. The addition of a multitude of faithful saints rooted in prayer, Scripture, and worship flanking their 6:4 pastors as Strategic Renewal sets its vision to the next 25 years.

Through prayer-filled discipleship, Strategic Renewal will continue to equip churches to experience prayer-driven renewal. 

6:3 Discipleship continues to help transform the prayer-lives of Christians around the nation, especially among Gen-Z:
