The life of a minister is one marked by high-stakes and challenging situations. Pastors often feel pulled in several directions at once. Their daily life is rife with various responsibilities, and expectations; some planned and others often  unplanned. 

The result is that of  a man exhausted and worn down by the daily grind, incapable to focus beyond the immediate and the urgent. Such a state inevitably ripples out to the rest of the church, leaving congregations feeling anxious and unsure of the direction and mission of the church to which they belong.

This was Pastor Andy Snider’s story:

I signed up for the Praying Leader experience simply because ministry is HARD.  It’s just hard.  I was in a place of desperation before the Lord and seeking what He wanted me to do next in my ministry.

It is an all-too-common portrait – the Pastor marked by exhaustion, coupled with a lack of vision. And, tragically,  there are several untold stories just like Andy.

He will witness a fresh vision for ministry. And, this will ignite a church-wide prayer culture amid his congregation. And this is happening even today – Pastors and their congregations are being shaped and changed through prayer.

I’ve never met a pastor who feels that he has arrived in prayer. There’s so much you don’t learn in seminary because you can’t learn it in a classroom. This course teaches us how to pray from a biblical framework and I recommend this to every pastor I talk to.
